professional and so easy to work with

I emailed O"Brien Hyundai of Ft. Myers with a reasonable offer on a new car. They got back to me the same day, and within 15 minutes of talking on the phone we agreed on an out the door price and delivery to me since I'm 8 months pregnant. It was simple, professional, and respectful of my time. O'Brien had no problem sending me the figures and sharing the complete break down by email or text. There were no games, and no need to haggle since they were willing to accept a reasonable offer. The management and sales staff were great to work with, especially Jessica De Zayas and Rex Moonshower. The car was delivered as promised, and Jessica took the time to explain all the features to me. Paperwork was a breeze. I've never had car buying be so easy, and (honestly) enjoyable.

Sold my Subaru and they filled out the paper work to get a refund on my extended warranty. After weeks I tried to contact them to find out what was happening. Left messages even with General Manager. Nobody ever returned my calls. Found out they screwed up when they sold me the car new back in 2017. They don't care about you after they make that sale. Very poor customer service

Scammed by O'brien Mazda in fort myers Fla. $1500 cash down and $3500 mazda 626 trade, and a 6k loan for a piece of xxxx 2007 dodge caliber that has cost me almost 4k in repairs so far. This is how you get scammed by O'Brien. So 5k down and a 6k loan for a piece of garbage 2007 dodge caliber Good going. The place is disgusting

All in All a Good Experience

This is the 2nd time I have purchased a vehicle from this dealership. Working with Jessica and Rex made the purchase easy. Jessica had called after my internet search and I told her what I wanted as I had a couple of vehicles in mind. We set up an appointment for the following Monday. She found several vehicles for me to see and test drive that met my criteria. I spoke with Rex to get a 'no haggle', no 'back and forth' price and was given a fair price for my trade in. I went home, made my decision from a couple of choices, went back into the dealership and drove my new car home that night!! I absolutely love it!!! So far so good. The only thing that I wasn't pleased with is having to sign paperwork, and more paperwork and more paperwork in the back office, no copies given and really no explanations. I asked questions but answers were very vague. She kept trying to get me to take out additional warranties which I told her from the beginning that I wasn't interested in and from that point forward she was less than pleasant; otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

User-friendly experience

I had to buy a new car after an accident and was not looking forward to it. Jess and her manager Adan were easy to work with, listened well to what I wanted, didn't pressure me, and gave me a great deal on a terrific new Hyundai Sonata. Jess went above and beyond with some follow up after I bought my car and I felt very well taken care of. I will return to O'Brien in the future and will recommend O'Brien to my friends.

Superb!

Adan was the best. He is very honest and upfront. He does his best to get you the best deal and tell you where you need to be if you are not in a position to buy a car at that time. He is very knowledgeable and I send everyone to OBrien in Fort Myers. My salesperson John was awesome. He approached me outside and was very friendly and helpful. He was very knowledgeable and took his time with me. I didn’t feel rushed at all. At OBrien it was not about the sale it was more about the person. They truly made me feel like family which is why I send everyone I know to OBrien.

A Very Happy Customer

When I first entered the O'Brien Dealership, I knew what car I was interested in - the Elantra SEL - but wasn't sure if I could afford it. Since I live on a fixed income, that would be a determining factor. I looked at competitive brands of cars and had almost given up hope that I could strike a deal for the Elantra and would have to settle for something else. But the staff at the dealership spent extra time working to find a way to offer me a lease I could afford. And they succeeded. I am thrilled to be driving the car of my choice and to now consider myself part of the Hyundai family. Thanks for putting my needs first and for making me a very happy customer.

We went into Hyundai on a Sunday with no intentions of purchasing a new car, Nino greeted us at the entrance. After a brief introduction he let us browse the cars and lot without any high pressure at all. Once we had questions he was above and beyond helpful. We discussed our needs and desires. With several options that he presented us with along with great knowledge of the products. We test drove a couple cars. We decided to move forward with a purchase and I feel that he went to bat for us in meeting our purchase price. I highly recommend Nino and when I have future needs to purchase a new car, I hope that he is still here as I would prefer to again deal with a sincere professional.

A Very Disappointing Experience

Our experience with O'Brien was very disappointing! We purchased a new 2019 Hyundai Accent on 7/11/19. They were unprofessional and very underhanded in dealing with us regarding their trade-in offer. I feel a dealership should be fair on a trade value and not try to take advantage of the customer. In my experience, this dealer conducted themselves in a deceptive manner by leading us to believe our 19-year-old Ford Mustang GT had to be taken to an auto auction and could not be sold retail (due to its age) from their lot. This was used as their justification for a lower trade-in offer. Once our deal was done, their post-sale customer service was horrible. My texts and voicemail messages to our salesperson went unanswered. I was told they would get back with me on a specific question I had about our trade and they did not do so. It took nearly 60 days to receive our registration and title (we were told "it will be close" to receive our registration by the end of August). Ultimately, I had to contact a member of the dealership's management to get answers to my questions and was shocked to be told that our Mustang would be placed on their retail lot for resale. So, while we were trying to be fair and understanding to the dealer regarding their trade-in offer, they apparently were misleading us to get more cash on the trade rather than trying to build a lasting relationship with a first-time customer. They chose dishonesty over integrity. I've bought over 30 new vehicles in my lifetime and I'll be around for a long time. I will never deal with O'Brien again, and I will share my story with as many people as possible.

Great service. NO wash.

Service is great, quick and they keep you informed. However, a car wash is supposed to be included after 4 years using them I've only had two washes, even when I request and the service advisor puts it in the work order. That's my only complaint.

Best price.

Best experience by far purchasing a vehicle. By far THE BEST salesman was Carlos Verdura took care of us and offered the best price. Everyone in the showroom was cordial, attentive, and we were offered coffee and water while we waited a few minutes Carlos Verdura pleasure to work with and took special care . We felt no pressure dealing with our salesperson. He spent a lot of time with us and was very patient. He did not aggressively pressure us to buy a car and was willing to work to a provide a great price for new car. We are very glad that we had good experiences in Fort Myers OBrien Hyundai center. Also we wanna say thank you to Cameron financial assistant, he was very helpful for us.

The Best !!

I met Jimmy several months ago when I was visiting the Service Dept. I mentioned that no one could find the car I was looking for. Within ten minutes the car I described was sitting at the door. Unfortunately, I was not ready to buy at that time. When I was ready, I walked into the showroom and found Jimmy. I told him what I wanted and several hours later I had bought a car that I had never seen. The next day when I got my car "it was exactly" what I wanted. How happy am I !! This is my second car from O'Brien Hyundai and they are just the best dealership ever. Both their sales and service departments are amazing. All of the associates at O'Brien are courteous and helpful and friendly and... Like I said... They are The Best.

Brand new suv, sooo many times in for various repairs

After buying our brand new 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Ultimate suv (on Jan 30,2018), a few days later we noticed the passenger headlight had condensation, brought SUV to replace the headlight. Also noticed in front seats there were something that would poke you in the thighs when you would be sitting, if you would run your hand you could feel little spike like plastic coming up. Upon replacement of the seats the trim piece would not properly fit back on the seat, Hyundai order a replacement, had to come back left the SUV, when coming back to pick it up, we were advise that they ordered the wrong part and we would have to come back another time to replace this. After that was replaced, brought SUV couple of weeks later the Trim panel around the front seat would not fit together properly. A week or so after the passenger seat trim panel popped loose again, part had to be ordered. A few weeks after lower seat trim on passenger seat was replaced and Hyundai was notified about a clicking noise that the steering wheel was making when you fully turn it. Another few weeks after that we noticed that the passenger side rear molding was sticking out about a quarter inch, SUV had to be sent to body shop, at same time we expressed our concerned about brakes squealing at low speeds problem was never fixed. After SUV came from body shop, once you would open the trunk you can hear a noise simulating that something is loose inside of the actual trunk door. A few days ago the BSDS system failure light came on while driving on I-75, this has happened twice so far. Another recent thing has been the stereo the music would be on and all of the sudden you could only here the back speakers and not the front, you would have to turn off the stereo and turn it back on for the speakers to function properly. The suv has been back in for repairs at the shop again for new seats, check out the bsds system, the brakes, the steering wheel noise, to get a new radio and to get looked at because the suv wipers are streaking. We have contacted the general manager various time to talk to and in one instance of the last day of the month he saw us and we asked to speak to him and he just closed the door and they told us he was going to call us and nothing. The manager rex gave us an attitude when we told him that we are being nice about the subject. We bought a brand new suv and now we are stock with a lemon and we don’t have the money to get a lawyer, we trusted Hyundai and now we are even scared to drive this thing because of breaking. I left countless of emails and voicemails to the district manager D.H. Lee and no answers back. We spoke to the service manager and he said this which made us feel like we are hopeless thank you Hyundai. Good afternoon, Sorry for the delay. I have not yet heard back anything from Hyundai regarding your case. The only thing I have heard was from our rep, who advised me to advise you that if you are looking to have the vehicle repurchased under the lemon law, then you will need to go through the proper legal channels of the state of Florida. I legally cannot guide you through that process. However, there are laws in place to protect the consumer, and you are most certainly free to pursue that avenue. Our GM has been out of state. Nobody ever returned my calls. Found out they screwed up when they sold me the car new back in 2017. They don't care about you after they make that sale. Very poor customer service

From the sales man to the finance manager, crap service

For starters “Gene” our salesman was incredibly rude to both me and my husband. Not only did he tell us we were wasting his time but that we were going all wrong when it comes to car buying. Despite this attitude and comments we needed a car so we purchased one. Then the first sales manager who’ never actually showed us our credit report just some fudged numbers he made up in excel “took care of us” at least this guys smiled while he was sticking a thumb up out xxxxx. Then after leaving with such a sour tastes in our mouths we had to unfortunately go back to get our warranty cancelled out. We refinanced because we quickly caught on to this scam and when we went in CHRIS YSLAS cancelled our extended warranty and then because we had refinanced told us to request a buy out confirmed they Subaru Chase. That was over 2 months ago. I have emailed CHRIS I have called the store. I have shown up and since he’s not there no help was given to us. I’m over this. I should have received a check in the mail for the cost of the extended warranty cancellation but nothing. Not a word from CHRIS or O’Brien Subaru. Guess who I’m not recommending to my in-laws who need a car. This garbage place. Once they sell you a car you’re dead to them. Like I said xxxx service with a smile. Drive a little farther out of fort Myers and go to another dealership. Oh and before I forget on a positive note Carlos the salesman. Only redeeming quality of this place. He’s actually a decent human being and had I met him before GENE he would have my patronage for like. Hire more Carlos and less Genes.

A deal better than expected.

I came in armed with my calculations, that were comletely wrong, and Rodrigo explained, with great patience, my mistake, that negatively affected my expectations. Still, Rodrigo was able to give me a deal that was *better* than I expected, for my trade-in. Then, when my new registration did not arrive in mail after a month, I contacted Rodrigo - he promptly addressed the issue, and I received a copy few days later. I am rating Rodrigo as a very knowledgeable, not pushy, and very very patient salesman.

I traveled from ft Lauderdale to purchase a Hyundai Santa Fe Se 2016. I had an exceptional experience. My salesperson Zak Banwart was great- made me feel very comfortable with my decision. Worked with me to get my pricing, with my terms, all well below market value. The rest of the staff, Sales Manager Matt and the general manager were friendly too, only thing the dealer fees/pre service delivery charge for Me was a little on the high end at $799 when the national average is between $50-$900 but i am not complaining because i honestly feel like i got the deal of a lifetime. I would recommend working with Zak to anyone, made me feel like he was on my side, but no hassle/no pressure. So happy with my new car.

Length of service.

One time I had to have a new tire put on as the present tire had a nail in it. That took about two and a half hours! My car was flooded, prior to Hurricane Irma, and I did not get it back for about a month! Recently you had to put in a new cable for the trunk. That took three days. I also think your customer service could be improved. In the past I have had trouble getting through to talk to someone. One time my attorney daughter called I never received a reply. When one is put on hold the music is horribly loud and obnoxious. I have reluctantly given Jose, listed below, five stars per my reluctant agreement.

Best cat buying experience I've ever had

The staff was helpful and everyone I talked to, both over the phone and text, responded quickly and accurately. I work a very busy schedule and so many other dealerships would just blow me off because I wasn't in the store in person. Pamela easily spent half a day responding to all of my emails and texts, and answered pretty much every question I had before I ever even set foot in the dealership. Once I showed up there was always a staff member nearby to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Ask for Jaun! He was super nice, and ran all over the place for me to make sure that my experience went as smooth as possible. The facilities were very clean and comfortable and the entire experience was very pleasant. 100% recommend the O'Brien team.

Was Annoyed, better now!

Took vehicle in for "Check Engine" service for the Second Time...Same Issue! OBD was Reset...Again. Was advised the issue was resolved by opening the gas cap & reseuring...NOT!...Check Engine Light is BACK ON!!! Same issue persists...Confirmed by an outside mechanic - getting same OBD Code...P0456 Took the vehicle in for the third time. Gas cap as replaced. Issue seems to be resolved...we'll see.

Terrible experience. The entire process was rushed. He was very arrogant. Originally I had an appointment with someone who ended up not being in and had to deal with William instead. When asked to look at cars he offered to pull out a laptop and look at the cars online which I had already done from my own house. When asking questions about vehicles I was told to go online and look it up myself. He knew nothing about the vehicles I was looking for besides what I was pulling up online. He seemed to be extremely bothered. He made comments like “well I am the top salesman” when he was questioned. Even if I was ready to buy a car, I wouldn’t have bought it from him. Very bad experience. I wasn’t even given a business card.

Flawless sales experience

Bill was fantastic. I've always dreaded buying a car, and Bill made it so easy and painless. He actually recommended that I buy a slightly cheaper car because it better met my requirements. I came in at 9 am and drove out in my new car at 12 pm - he even drove me to return the rental car I arrived in. He got me a great loan and set me up with an insurance broker so everything was handled. Couldn't be more impressive by Bill or the dealership as a whole.

We went into Hyundai on a Sunday with no intentions of purchasing a new car, Nino greeted us at the entrance. After a brief introduction he let us browse the cars and lot without any high pressure at all. Once we had questions he was above and beyond helpful. We discussed our needs and desires. With several options that he presented us with along with great knowledge of the products. We test drove a couple cars. We decided to move forward with a purchase and I feel that he went to bat for us in meeting our purchase price. I highly recommend Nino and when I have future needs to purchase a new car, I hope that he is still here as I would prefer to again deal with a sincere professional.

I had a slight auto accident then I found Nino.

I've always over the past five years or so had my 2013 Hyundai Santa fe sport 2.0T serviced at O'Brian Hyundai before my 1300 mi trip back to Boardman, Ohio. Never did I think I would be leasing a vehicle from O'Brien Hyundai and bringing it back to Ohio until I met Nino Mannino. Never have I met anyone, at least in car sales quite like Nino. He made me feel very comfortable. It was a Saturday and I could feel the pressure in the room to make car deals. Honestly I'm not big on car salesman or attorneys but Nino was different. I felt I met my match. See I had a lot on my mind. I had just been in an auto accident the evening before and my car was being looked at for damage assessment. Nino got me out of my slightly damaged vehicle "trade in" and into a new 2019 Hyundai Santa fe 2.0t fwd. I guess it was the total amount of time, effort and knowledge that Nino put forth. Then two days later he spent about three hours with me making sure I new everything about this car I needed to know. Well I'm back home now in Ohio after giving my SUV the biggest test drive ever. I absolutely love it. I give Nino and the entire O'Brian Hyundai staff 5 stars. Oh and one more thing, Nino "LISTENED". Thanks to all, Evan R. Morris

Best Car Buying Experience Out There!!

This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. I was greeted immediately by Nino Mannino and he took excellent care of me. He helped me figure out which SUV best fit my needs, walked all over with me looking at colors, features, etc to make sure I found the perfect fit for me. And I did... and I love it! I HIGHLY recommend Nino and O'Brien to anyone in the market for a car. Very genuine great guy that took the time to answer all of my questions and gave me personal service you just don't get anywhere else. Pleasant and hard working

Hunter Crump loves his product and was eager to show me all the positives in the Subaru line. He was knowledgeable, and not embarrassed to ask someone for help when he did not know an exact answer. I was turning in a lease from another state and another make of car, so it was a bit complicated. He really went out of his way to keep in touch with me and to make the transaction as smooth as possible. Most importantly, he really listened to my questions and concerns and did not pressure me in any way. He has consistently followed up with calls and texts to make sure I am getting the services promised. I really do not enjoy the car buying process, but he did everything possible to make it pleasant.

I emailed O"Brien Hyundai of Ft. Myers with a reasonable offer on a new car. They got back to me the same day, and within 15 minutes of talking on the phone we agreed on an out the door price and delivery to me since I'm 8 months pregnant. It was simple, professional, and respectful of my time. O'Brien had no problem sending me the figures and sharing the complete break down by email or text. There were no games, and no need to haggle since they were willing to accept a reasonable offer. The management and sales staff were great to work with, especially Jessica De Zayas and Rex Moonshower. The car was delivered as promised, and Jessica took the time to explain all the features to me. Paperwork was a breeze. I've never had car buying be so easy, and (honestly) enjoyable.

User-friendly experience

I had to buy a new car after an accident and was not looking forward to it. Jess and her manager Adan were easy to work with, listened well to what I wanted, didn't pressure me, and gave me a great deal on a terrific new Hyundai Sonata. Jess went above and beyond with some follow up after I bought my car and I felt very well taken care of. I will return to O'Brien in the future and will recommend O'Brien to my friends.

All in All a Good Experience

This is the 2nd time I have purchased a vehicle from this dealership. Working with Jessica and Rex made the purchase easy. Jessica had called after my internet search and I told her what I wanted as I had a couple of vehicles in mind. We set up an appointment for the following Monday. She found several vehicles for me to see and test drive that met my criteria. I spoke with Rex to get a 'no haggle', no 'back and forth' price and was given a fair price for my trade in. I went home, made my decision from a couple of choices, went back into the dealership and drove my new car home that night!! I absolutely love it!!! So far so good. The only thing that I wasn't pleased with is having to sign paperwork, and more paperwork and more paperwork in the back office, no copies given and really no explanations. I asked questions but answers were very vague. She kept trying to get me to take out additional warranties which I told her from the beginning that I wasn't interested in and from that point forward she was less than pleasant; otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Brand new suv, sooo many times in for various repairs

After buying our brand new 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Ultimate suv (on Jan 30,2018), a few days later we noticed the passenger headlight had condensation, brought SUV to replace the headlight. Also noticed in front seats there were something that would poke you in the thighs when you would be sitting, if you would run your hand you could feel little spike like plastic coming up. Upon replacement of the seats the trim piece would not properly fit back on the seat, Hyundai order a replacement, had to come back left the SUV, when coming back to pick it up, we were advise that they ordered the wrong part and we would have to come back another time to replace this. After that was replaced, brought SUV couple of weeks later the Trim panel around the front seat would not fit together properly. A week or so after the passenger seat trim panel popped loose again, part had to be ordered. A few weeks after lower seat trim on passenger seat was replaced and Hyundai was notified about a clicking noise that the steering wheel was making when you fully turn it. Another few weeks after that we noticed that the passenger side rear molding was sticking out about a quarter inch, SUV had to be sent to body shop, at same time we expressed our concerned about brakes squealing at low speeds problem was never fixed. After SUV came from body shop, once you would open the trunk you can hear a noise simulating that something is loose inside of the actual trunk door. A few days ago the BSDS system failure light came on while driving on I-75, this has happened twice so far. Another recent thing has been the stereo the music would be on and all of the sudden you could only here the back speakers and not the front, you would have to turn off the stereo and turn it back on for the speakers to function properly. The suv has been back in for repairs at the shop again for new seats, check out the bsds system, the brakes, the steering wheel noise, to get a new radio and to get looked at because the suv wipers are streaking. We have contacted the general manager various time to talk to and in one instance of the last day of the month he saw us and we asked to speak to him and he just closed the door and they told us he was going to call us and nothing. The manager rex gave us an attitude when we told him that we are being nice about the subject. We bought a brand new suv and now we are stock with a lemon and we don’t have the money to get a lawyer, we trusted Hyundai and now we are even scared to drive this thing because of breaking. I left countless of emails and voicemails to the district manager D.H. Lee and no answers back. We spoke to the service manager and he said this which made us feel like we are hopeless thank you Hyundai. Good afternoon, Sorry for the delay. I have not yet heard back anything from Hyundai regarding your case. The only thing I have heard was from our rep, who advised me to advise you that if you are looking to have the vehicle repurchased under the lemon law, then you will need to go through the proper legal channels of the state of Florida. I legally cannot guide you through that process. However, there are laws in place to protect the consumer, and you are most certainly free to pursue that avenue. Our GM has been out of state. Best car buying experience.

I have purchased many cars/trucks in my lifetime in South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Florida. Dealing with the people at O'Brien has been the best experience so far. Buying the Tucson was not a worrisome experience at all. I have also been back for two scheduled service maintenance. Both times were easy in and out. Good people who know customer service.

Very disappointed

I purchased my SUV at O'Briens, love it & left a glowing review for the sales staff. My service experience recently was quite the opposite. Long wait inside at service desk before some one even acknowledged I was standing there. No one was friendly or greeted me with a smile outside or inside. When I was called as to why I brought the vehicle in, I was treated rudely & curtly. They did however fix the issues. The actual service to my vehicle was not the problem, it was the staff. I will not be returning.

Eddie did a great job of having the problem solved - a local tire shop recommended that I get a new tire -- the O'Brien service people determined that the tire hadn't been damaged and it indeed was alright - There was no charge for the evaluation - which was most welcomed

Great service. NO wash.

Service is great, quick and they keep you informed. However, a car wash is supposed to be included after 4 years using them I've only had two washes, even when I request and the service advisor puts it in the work order. That's my only complaint.

Meeting my expectations

When I first made my appointment by internet. Excellent experience at O'Brien Auto

Very pleased with the whole experience at O'Brien Auto. Our salesman Jeff Simpson was wonderful. He was so patient and helpful. We knew that we wanted a SUV and we had a lot of questions. Jeff took the time to listen and explained the car options. No high pressure which was a big plus with us. We did purchase a new Tucson from Jeff and would recommend Jeff Simpson and O'Brien Auto to anyone looking to buy. We would also like to comment on Cameron Payne who we dealt with in finance. I didn't haggle price...yet

I accepted price no haggle. I only asked for floor mats and delivery of new car. Neither were granted to my disappointment. I was promised delivery and after papers and finance manager was finished. I was told to find my sales person. He did oblodge putting on new plates but was unable to deliver the car as promised. It cost me $100 for floormats and $58 dollars and almost an hour and half more time for my own transportation( uber) to get. the new car home. Sadly they could have made me happy with just those two things but they did not. Total dealer savings $158.00. You decide.

Great experience at O’Brien Hyundai

This is our fifth car that we have bought from O’Brien Hyundai. Curt was our salesman and he did a fantastic job find us the right vehicle. Best cat buying experience I've ever had

The staff was helpful and everyone I talked to, both over the phone and text, responded quickly and accurately. I work a very busy schedule and so many other dealerships would just blow me off because I wasn't in the store in person. Pamela easily spent half a day responding to all of my emails and texts, and answered pretty much every question I had before I ever even set foot in the dealership. Once I showed up there was always a staff member nearby to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. Ask for Jaun! He was super nice, and ran all over the place for me to make sure that my experience went as smooth as possible. The facilities were very clean and comfortable and the entire experience was very pleasant. 100% recommend the O'Brien team.

Took my used VW Passat ,was helped by Ed to change to a used Hyundai Veracruz , Ed was so helpful and such alovely friendly guy, the Hyundai was prepped quickly ,however Ed kept trying to get the finance people to get to us to finalize the deal ,and we waited and waited ,To finish up , we were there five and a half hours , surely the finance people could do better , shame to spoil a otherwise good experiance
